Deep- and broadstanding aseel-like Gamefowltype, cerca 16 inches tall in roosters.
This showtype is to be placed as between aseel-like and malaioid.
Strain used for broiler breeding since 1965.
Origin: Cornish bred in England and USA. Crossing between early imports of Aseel
and Malays in Europe beginning of 20th century. The first typical ones shown before
1st world war.
Particularities: Enormous meat developing, extremely broad standing on thick legs.
Very shiny scanty plumage in dark (pheasant-brown) colour.
Weight: Rooster: 3,5 to 4,5kg in 2nd year.
Hen: 2 kg to 3 kg in 2nd year.
Hatching egg: 50 g
